CENSURE POLLS: Americans SUPPORT censure!!!

48% of voters APPROVE of censure.

Take that and stick it up your ass, New York Times!

29% of REPUBLICANS support censure!!

The interesting thing is, even 26% of Democrats don't support it. So we need to take care of our own side, as well. This is just beginning.

1. Poll and ask how many people support Censure OR Impeachment
Could be many people who might answer that they are against censure are saying so because they would prefer impeachment.

2. That's the key
I'd be for censure if that was the only option. But I'm against it if impeachment and imprisonment were options as well.

4. But censure does not rule out any of these things you list.

7. Feingold seemed to think it did in his press conference yesterday.
He said it was a way to address the President's misdeeds without going too far, as was done with Clinton.

6. And 22% of gay people voted for Bush in 2004
There are always going to be about 30% of people who are so crazy they believe the dumbest things.

29% of Republicans are people who are stupid enough to join the Republican party even though they believe things like illegal wiretaps are bad

And 26% of Democrats are stupid enough to think Bush needs illegal wiretaps to keep us safe.

22% of all gay people voted for Bush in 2004. 16% of Jews are Republican. And 36% of Americans believe in Alien Abduction.

The Lunatic Fringe will always hover around 30%.

8. If 70% of Democrats support it, Senate should get off their dead asses
and support Feingold.

I don't understand why they stick with their losing strategy of trying not to offend the undecided when the Republican "feed your base" method seems to yeild better results.

While the Democratic approach sometimes yeilds better results, when we lose it is more demoralizing because our candidate looked half-hearted and craven as he appealed to those so-called moderates or even tried to peal off some conservatives (a waste of time).

9. This totally puts to rest the idea the censure will rally the Republicans
Only 57% of Republicans oppose censure. If they want to rally 57% of their base for the November elections, they can be my guest!
