Iraqis Are Being Slaughtered For Poll Numbers
Don't be fooled for a second, the only reason the largest air assault in the war in Iraq has been launched at this moment is to bolster George W. Bush's poll numbers. This is murder, no more and no less.

4. It's so blantantly obvious
that that is what this latest strike is about.

I guess Bush figured it was time to remind the American people that "WE'RE AT WAR! GODDAMNIT! RESPECT MY AUTHORITY! I so need a boost right now."

This isn't going to win the hearts and minds of the IRaqi people and if anyone here is really paying attention, it should be winning our hearts and minds either.

5. That formula hopefully wont work this time.
Back in those heady days in 2001-2004 when Dumbya was being kissed on the tushy bipartisanly and the media and sh*t pundits were calling him strong, resolute and honest leader, no one was challenging him.
Its a different ball game now. Many in the media have woken up.
His polls will remain stuck in the low 30s.

16. It seems to me that the percentage of Americans who are
"brain dead" is decreasing.

12. You're Correct
The war is one reason they're so low now. The preponderance of the people no longer support the war or its purpose. Escalating it will just anger that 65%.
