4. It's typical of how the Bush Regime defines "transparency"

Now, when they say it, they want the people to hear "honest and forthcoming" - but that's not how the Bush Regime defines being transparent.

They just mean they will tell you what they're doing or planning to do - in terms that later make sense but are ambiguous to begin with...you just have to take what they say, think the opposite or the worst - and you know what they're doing.

And they do give warnings - they just never tell you what they mean exactly. "Watch what you say" means "we're spying on you and we're making a list" - when Bush said "Change the way the culture thinks" back in 2000 (means: I'm imposing my religious/moral/elitist beliefs on America whether they like it or not)


"Store Tuna" means "we plan to destroy chickens even if the threat is low and there's no need to panic (because we like fear-mongering) - so buy tuna now before the price goes up...and the price will go up - also, as chickens get scarce, the poultry industry will lay off workers, seek bigger tax exemptions, and the price of chicken will go up"

"We don't torture"(as we define torture)

"Clean water act" (as we define clean)

5. The VERY first thing I thought of, when I heard about the spying

was Ari's statement! "Watch what you say"

RE: "in terms that later make sense but are ambiguous to begin with..." You have them pegged! Always hiding things out in the open and laughing at us behind our backs, no doubt.

Like "No Child Left Behind" and just a few days ago, they cut off the kids school lunches to raise money to give rich people another 60 billion dollar tax cut. Bush's fourth tax cut for the rich. As soon as the "No Child Left Behind Act" was signed into law they were gutting the school systems across the entire nation.

One simple rule of thumb...If Bush is talking, he's lying!

I decided a long time ago that Bush was indeed "transparent" - incredibly warped in his thinking, but transparent.

Bush was pushed as a "regular guy", someone you could "have a beer with", and he surrounds himself with "smart people" - he says one thing (and does another) - lot of people only hear what he says.


Bush once said he was "basically a media creation" - and Bush, the candidate, was - and the Bush presented to the public is a media creation.

Some people don't care what he says or does - as long as he's not a "Democrat"...those people actually think it's a contest...no matter how much the country is destroyed in the process.

Some people actually think Bush cares ( I almost - but not quite - feel sorry for those people)

The remainder benefit financially with people like Bush in office, so they certainly don't care.
