It's a good idea to take a break

For me, anyway.

When the passion becomes too much, and you find yourself taking shots at those who you respect and at those who are standing by your side (even though you may not know it) then it is time to step back for a bit. Maybe take a few weeks off and get some furniture built, work on the new house, learn to put some backspin on an 8-iron. :)

1. I agree.

Take five minutes, or a day, or a week and go outside and look around for awhile. It is amazing how much is out there that we never knew existed. It is easy to get wrapped up in the day to day B.S. and forget the things that are really important.

2. Yes, breaks are necessary.

I've received a lot of flak from my girlfriend for so much political talk. "It's you, me and George W. Bush,' she says. That's enough to put politics aside, for a while anyway.
