Bush losing his base - from Pew Research
Edited on Fri Mar-17-06 12:12 PM by Glenda
see here under: "Core Supporters Less Satisfied with Bush"

http://people-press.org/reports/display.php3?ReportID=271

I'm not a tables person - I had to create the graph from the table below... Everyone's less satisfied, even republicans and evangelicals. It seems that repub and evangelicals hang on more tenaciously, i.e., their numbers dropped by < 20%, whereas those who "voted for bush" or those "initially supporting iraq war" dropped 23%-24%.

The ones I didn't graph are those with lower support to begin with. So you have to look at the table for those.

1. You know what this means
Expect more and more batshit insanity from Bush/Rove and the bunch. They'll now be trying everything to hang on to the whacko fundie vote.

2. Gee - the fundies got two judges, a war, and lots of Jesus lovin
politicians and appointees. Why are they unhappy?

I sure hope they aren't waiting for a government decree requiring that everyone adopt fundamentalist ideology and believe in god. They
will become even more unhappy and impossible to live with.

4. Don't you remember all of the talk from Bush ...
... during the 2004 campaign about a Constituional amendment forbidding gay marriage?

He yakked it up pretty good for the Fundies - of course, the minute he was re-installed in the Oval Office, he never said another WORD about it.

Even the Fundies are realizing they've been had - just like anyone else who believed the Idiot would make good on his promises.

7. Yeah but they did get a LOT. Why can't they concede that the
country cannot be made in their own image.

There are also a lot of "good fundies" who are starting to openly disagree with the war and some of the shithead's policies.
