Three defendants who pleaded guilty to arson charges in connection with planting incendiary devices at houses under construction in Placer County 15 months ago learned their sentences today.
Ryan Lewis, 22, of Newcastle was sentenced to six years in federal prison. He was taken into custody immediately. Last October, Lewis agreed to plead guilty to two counts of attempted arson and one count of arson for his involvement in the December 24, 2004 incident at the Twin Bridges housing development in Lincoln.
This morning, Eva Holland, 26, and Lili Holland, 21, both of Newcastle were each sentenced to two years in federal prison for their roles. Each had previously pleaded guilty to one count of attempted arson. The women have six weeks to turn themselves in to custody.
Upon leaving the sentencing, the sisters said, "We're just glad to be moving forward with our life and to have this all behind us."
