Of course: Adams detained at airport
So someone who is invited to the White House is then detained at the airport.

3. i'm glad somebody else said it first
abt what i was thinking, i'm afraid that back in the day some members of the ira did set off bombs and i think DHS would be derelict in their duty if they just said oh, white people, nice irish boys, that's ok then

secondary screening was appropriate

it isn't like they were no fly'd

there has to be at least some tiny pretense of fairness in all this

7. I'm on the no-fly list, and I'm not in anyway directly or indirectly
involved with a terrorist group, I've never been arrested in my life, and no I don't have a common name.. "there has to be at least some tiny pretense of fairness in all this" - Right.. :eyes:

4. Why are you surprised, RG???

Gerry Adams and Richard McAuley are terrorists according to CNN :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

"Adams was interned as an IRA suspect from 1972 to 1976, and was convicted for an attempted jail breakout while in custody.

McAuley was interned as an IRA suspect in the mid-1970s alongside Adams. He was arrested as the passenger on a motorcycle allegedly carrying a rifle; the two-man IRA unit had just mounted a gun attack on a British army position in Belfast."

How much do you want to bet that if the "Rev" or his equally despicable son had been in DC yesterday, they wouldn't have been subjected to the same treatment. But then again the "Rev" and his followers aren't terrorists, they're just hatemongers...
