Is it dubious election practices in Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004? Is it the veritable swarm of lawyers that descended on Florida in 2000 to stop any attempt at a serious recount?
Is it that Bush and the administration as a whole didn't consider Al Qaeda a threat until AFTER 9/11, despite clear warnings from the outgoing administration?
Is it that they've managed to take a budget surplus and turn it into record debt in less than six years?
Is it that rather than finishing the job in Afghanistan, finding Bin Laden, and setting up a real Democracy rather than allowing the warlords to flourish, they drained precious resources to ready for an attack against Iraq?
Is it that they ignored and disrupted the process in place for determining whether Saddam had WMDs, and went in with very little support from the internation community, using faulty (if not deceptive) intelligence to justify it?
Is it that they outed a CIA agent, purposely destroying an on-going intelligence operation specifically involved in the tracking of WMDs, for the purpose of destroying an outspoken critic?
Is it that they FIRED strategic analysts and military figures who told them that the occupation of Iraq wouldn't be a cakewalk, as they hoped and worked to convince the American people?
Is it that they were paying off members of the press to help catapult their propoganda?
Is it that they used manufactured intelligence (i.e. intelligence they put together in such a way as to be deceptive) to get Congress to okay military action in Iraq?
Is it that the FISA court was specifically designed to deal with the kind of threats we're facing, and, in and of itself, grants the President and the intelligence community the power to investigate any suspected terrorist or sympathizer WITHOUT first obtaining a warrant for up to 72 hours?
Is it that there is nothing in the whole FISA law that could be seen to impede the process as designed?
Is it that, without oversight, we are completely unable to verify WHO they're wiretapping, regardless of what they say?
Is it that we're expected to vote on machines that are less open to inspection and/or certification than the average one-armed bandit?
Is it that they're talking about using NUKES on Iran, despite the fact that they openly admit that Iran is years away from being any kind of threat?
Is it that they're selling this country to the Chinese communists, who now own as much as 40% of our debt?
Is it that their domestic policies seem deliberately designed to destroy the middle class in this country, the class that, to a great extent, is the primary cause of our long-standing economic strength?
These are NOT opinions, people. Opinions are what you get when you turn on FOX NEWS, or pretty much any national news outlet. These are FACTS. Quantifiable, verifiable, undeniable FACTS.
How many clues do you need?
The Republican Party is NOT good for America.
It's as simple as that.
