3. What a great sports story. |
|
A Team beats a Group, every time.
Those guys, in their combined lives, will never make the money Pujols makes in one month.
I cannot wait 'til Monday.
Wonder if georgie was watching.

And that, in itself, makes me smile.
Peace.

7. Yep. I watched it from start to finish. |

The Cubans play REAL baseball. I've really enjoyed this WBC! Can't wait for the Korea/Japan semifinal this evening. That should be a real treat.
Peace.

8. Who are you picking tonight? |
|
I am leaning to Japan.
I have been with Cuba from day one even tho a lot of folks (DUers included) had the Dominicans. I, for one, never thought the MLB players could handle Cuban pitching.
Wouldn't you like to see more of the Cuban 1st baseman and catcher?
The Dominicans were damned fortunate not to be shut out. I thought the umps were squeezing the Cuban pitchers a little.
How about when the ump called that Mexican's shot off Rocket a foul when it hit the pole? Jeez. That was the same ump that cost the Japanese the game against the US (said the runner left 3rd early).

10. Like I told my hubby...the Japanese DESERVE to be there tonight. |
|
I was really pissed about that call. I don't want to win that way. It ended up not a big deal, though. Good thing. I'm pulling for Japan tonight. It's gonna be one, hell of a game on Monday!
Oops...game's back on. Can you believe the rain?
peace.

I just turned the machine back on and there you were about the baseball deal.
Even tho the Cubans have burned their two stud pitchers, my money is still on them (los Cubanos, that is).
This is just great bessboll.
