2. I love Belzer.

It isn't just that he speaks from a liberal viewpoint, it really gets under his skin when some Puke tries to pass off some idiotic talking point and just pushes past it so no one has a chance to refute the BS. He always seems to say the stuff that I would be yelling at the TV if he weren't there.

I really wish there were more like him out there taking these assholes to task.

4. I watched it Friday night and was again pissed with Maher. Belzer says

"What I don't fucking read?", Maher got all upset. Meanwhile, how many times does Maher use the word fuck?

The time Belzer was on before this show, I will never forget how he called Ann Coulter a fascist party doll.

Belzer totally rocks and I am half in love with him.

5. This was a fun episode but I have a hard time forgiving Maher for

being rude to Studs Terkel because he is old. It really made my blood boil.

7. Belz Cleaned The Cuban Mafia's Sweetheart's Clock

When Michael Stipe doesn't use a swear word, Mahrer gets on his case. However when Belz called Ros-Leitenan on her bullshit by name, "that's over the line". Sheesh...Mahrer should know what his audience is and what it wants. We wanted to see Belz put this lady in tears...take every lie and talking point and ram it up her special interests. We've got several years of frustration with all these lies and distortions that we no longer can or should tolerate. It's time bullshit is called for what it is and the people who keep spewing it are put in their proper place of disrespect.

9. Mahrer Thinks He's A Lot Smarter Than He Is

Every show he's shown to be lacking on his real knowledge of the world outside the Hollywood Hills...similar to Dennis Miller, just that he hasn't succumbed to the right wing dollars and the subsequent career suicide that brings. Anyone heard from dear Dennis lately? LOL.

Mahrer is very knee-jerk...talks before he thinks and only thinks about things that are important to him. I don't see that as seeing which way the wind blow, it's just plain arrogant ignorance.

My bitch is more that when he brings on a right wing shill...especially on a network that prides itself on being both cutting edge and uncensored...to stop protecting these people from the verbal comeuppance they long deserve. These are big boys and girls...they attended Rove's spin schools...they should be able to handle things just fine. They're taught to outshout and ridicule their opponents...and it just pissed me that when Belz (with kid gloves mind you) gave just a little bit of this back to that Repugnican gas bag, Mahrer called him "over the line".
