for years government funding of faith-based organizations has fallen under the "separation of church and state" and said government funding of faith-based organizations crosses the line
to back track a couple of weeks - the supreme court upheld the bushies stance on military recruitment on college campuses - saying that if a college wants government funding they have to allow military recruitment
now - looking at faith-based organizations - they are exempt from many laws covering things such as hiring practices - faith-based organizations can routinely deny employment based on gender, religion, ethnicity, marital status etc.
IMHO - if a faith-based organization wants government funding - then it should be required to follow the same rules and laws that the rest of have to follow -- NO EXEMPTIONS
