Cliff May sez * didn't lie about WMD--Saddam sent them to Syria
and we now have proof in film format--from an editorial read by Peter Slen just now on Washington Journal. How many actually believe this crap? Lordy, this administration's DoD has a film production unit which happily cranks out productions to meet the propaganda need of the moment. I don't believe anything "official" coming out of this government now. They've lied too much.

1. Are they still looking for those nonexistent WMD?
They should give it up. No one is buying their lies.

5. But other folks in the admin told us "they were moved to Syria"
They haven't yet come to realize that they (neocon admin spokesmen) have a serious credibility gap.

6. Why would Saddam send them to Syria;
wouldn't you use them on the on coming invaders? Was he saving them for later use ( what later use?)....Story makes no sense, unless your trying to justify a major mistake.:wtf:

9. Not only are they liars,
Edited on Sun Mar-19-06 08:23 AM by Kierkegaard
they aren't even particularly good at it.

IF there were video tape of this migration of weapons to Syria, why are we only hearing about it now? Did one hour photo lose the prints?

Your point is well taken. Who would stand by and let their country be ravaged by war while busily exporting all of their advanced weaponry to another country? Saddam was a sociopath, but he wasn't stupid, unlike some modern day would-be dictators. It also doesn't fare too well for the monkeys who were supposed to be tracking activity in the region, only to MUCH LATER discover that a caravan of weapons made its way across hundreds of miles of open desert right under their noses. Hello???

13. Really where are the air surveillance photos?
We were all over the country with our air forces, where's the evidence?

Supposedly we and the Israeli's had recon teams inside the country before the war. The UNSCOM teams were operating throughout the country as well and were riddled with intelligence people, where's the proof?

11. Now Why Don't These Fuksticks Make Up Their Mind
I'm soooooooooooooo tired of this...

Let's start here...

http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=2842

"Saddam could decide to take Baghdad with him. One Arab intelligence officer interviewed by Newsweek spoke of 'the green mushroom' over Baghdad--the modern-day caliph bidding a grotesque bio-chem farewell to the land of the living alongside thousands of his subjects as well as his enemies. Saddam wants to be remembered. He has the means and the demonic imagination. It is up to U.S. armed forces to stop him before he can achieve notoriety for all time."
(Newsweek, 3/17/03)

Here's one side of the mouth saying one thing then...and no wingnut still can or will address the simple concept that if you are Saddam Hussein and you see your days coming to an end and you have all these weapons...why wouldn't you use them? Or at least have them at the ready? I was expecting that we would have found at least a few "dirty" bombs or some kind of chemical stockpile (just due to the fact they existed and were used in the 80s)...but NOTHING showed up...NOTHING was used...not a trace...nada.

May used to be eaten alive on TV by Kristina Van Den Huevel...has zero credibility...especially in light of all the things he and his neo-con traitors spewed in their bloodlust run-up for war and profit.

12. Oh Geez, not this shit again
I've been hearing this horseshit from my RWer ex husband ever since the start of the war, and my answer has always been what one previous poster said.
"Why in the hell would he send them to Syria when he knew we were about to invade? Why not use them?"

The RW answer is usually that he sent them before the inspectors got there.

Of course, recently its been much easier to make my points about this administration by pointing out that we EVIL LIBERALS have been right all along about everything else the little idiot has done.

"What makes you still think we're wrong about the WMD??"

18. My take on it is that they are trying to create some legitimacy for the
argument that Iran has weapons too and justify the beginning of a war there as well. These people are one trick ponies and so obvious. They never deviate from a single gameplan.

21. Dear Cliff May..
.... god you are stupid. People listen to you?

Here's a clue for you, we didn't spend billions of dollars for surveillance satellites to let this kind of thing happen. If anyone moved anything, we'd have seen it. And bombed it.

So keep issuing your stupid claims to be believed by stupid people. Most of us who were paying any attention at all knew Saddam didn't have jack.
