For everyone who thinks that all elected Dems are afraid of their own shadow, think again...
(MANCHESTER)- State Rep. Peter Sullivan today voiced his support for Senator Russell Feingold's resolution to censure President George W. Bush for authorizing illegal wiretaps and misleading Congress and the public about the scope and legality of the wiretapping program.
"America is a nation where the rule of law is sacred. Unfortunately, the President has chosen to circumvent the law and bypass congressional scrutiny. Such actions are reprehensible and deserve stern condemnation. Senator Feingold's resolution provides that condemnation" said Sullivan.
"It is increasingly apparent that the President violated the law. It is time for COngress to show courage and hold the President accountable for his actions".
Rep. Peter Sullivan is serving his third term in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, where he is a member of the House Criminal Justice Committee. An attorney and a former officer in the Army National Guard, he is seeking the Democratic nomination for Congress in New Hampshire's first congressional district.
