3. Problem is, Will thinks we ought to do it all over again -- in Iran

Will has no problem with the concept of 'preemptive' invasions, no objection to out-of-control American imperialism, and no qualms about killing furriners. His only problem with Iraq is that it hasn't worked out as he predicted, which means conservative Republicans no longer look as smart and as competant as George imagines himself and his equally smug, like-minded legions to be.

He isn't smart and never was. But the failure of his way of thinking is, slowly and imperceptibly, making him wiser.
