Anybody with a nearby gas station that's closed in protest?
About a mile from my house on a 4 lane highway, there's a Getty station that closed it's gas pumps about 8 months ago in protest over corporate greed. I can't state exactly what his sign outside read, but it went something like: "This gasoline service center can no longer serve it's public due to corporate greed." The sign went on to apologize to it's regular customers and saying that it will reopen when proper pricing policies are restored.

Now, the towns surrounding this gas station are mostly Democratic, so there are a lot of people taking their cars there for general maintenance in support of this proprietor's survival. Even my daughter took her car there for brakes and a tune-up. Yeah!!:applause:

there was a whole article about it in our little local paper...when the local gas station closed its pumps. They still fix cars but the don't sell gas anymore.
