RUMOR: Rummy on the brink of "retirement"?

My actually-somewhat-sane conservative co-worker just told me there's a rumor going around the Rumsfeld will resign his post in short order. I asked him where he saw that, and he said "on the Internet." I eventually got him to be more specific, and he said that National Review's blog has a quip about a rumor going around on it.

FYI, in case there's anything to it.

...since the numbers are so bad on those polls that this administration never reads. I think the rumor on Rummy was started by Rove and/or Cheney to divert attention away from them. GW is probably using a dartboard to make the decision, as there are so many that should go. Who to pick? Hmmmmmm!
