Poll question: Why does Dick Cheney have that sneer?

No really. Given his personality, that sneer is almost of a cartoon character nature. If it is semi-voluntary, shouldn't someone have coached him how to hold his face on camera by now? That's why I often think it may be an involuntary nerve disorder, like the result of Bell's Palsy.

What's your take on the origins of Dick Cheney's sneer? Please explain your answer.

Cheney has been sneering at all who dare disagree with him that his face has frozen in that despicable sneer. He has no compassion for those less fortunate, for those who dare to disagree.

My mom was right. Faces do freeze if you sneer enough.

who he deems beneath him. Which is pretty much everybody, except for a select few who serve his purpose at a particular point in time.

Some people have a look like they smell something bad all the time. Cheney sneers because of how much he detests others. He is a mean man. An angry man. A bitter man. An evil man. And it all reveals itself through his involuntary sneer.

Cheney is a walking invalid, he doesn't seem to have much control over the "sneer". I attribute it to a minor stroke and permanent muscle damage.
