So how do you think Chris Matthews will analyze Bush's speech?
I'm guessing he'll say that it was his most powerful speech ever and that this will start his poll numbers to rise again. (after all, only left wing wackos don't like Bush).

14. and,
"It was amazing how easily he confounded those critics who claim he doesn't take hard questions. Even from that Hungarian guy.
A masterful job, sure to bolster his poll numbers. It was like watching an artist at work, laughing, joking and connecting with his audience. I was impressed, as was all of us here at MSNBC."

Everything out of Bush's mouth is not making sense. We have a madman running the country into the ground.

Brilliant! Brilliant!

And like the beer ad creators, Tweety is probably being paid in some way.

13. "It's speeches like this that remind everybody..."
"... why they love this President so much. Sometimes we forget about the basic fact that george w. bush has an uncanny ability to connect with regular people - even greater than Bill Clinton's - and they love him everytime they hear him talk. I mean seriously - you'd have to be a left-wing loony to not like this guy."

That's my guess.

17. I was only saying what I think tweety will SAY, and not...
... what I think will be TRUE.

After all, tweety only has a passing acquaintence with the truth...

I took the OP to be asking only about what we thought tweety would *say* - possibly I was mistaken in that...

Tweety used to be schizophrenic. Now he's just a Bush sycophant. He lost me when he compared Bush to Atticus Finch.

27. Yowzas!
That comparison is the most craptacular thing I've heard in the last few days - sorry I missed it.

Too bad the American public is too illiterate to catch on to the abyssmal stupidity of that comparison. :(

16. Take heart, DU -- no matter how often, how loudly or how shrilly
they (MSM) repeat the lies, the frequency, volume and shrillness cannot change lies into truth. The Iraqi resistance gives the lie to all of Bush's statements about Iraq today. The truth always prevails

19. Tweety is as dumb as a brick.
I am NOT a regular viewer, but I happened to catch a few minutes of one of his shows last week.

It was after one of the more recent polls that asked people to give one word to describe SmirkyBoy.

Tweety sat there gape-faced and gobsmacked that respondents could ACTUALLY call the pResident "incompetent -- idiot -- liar".

He seems sooo befuddled at the mere idea that more than half of this country despises *.

No, really. In fact, you are going to need plastic surgery to remove his lips from nearly the same spot as Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly have.
