that I'm forgetting to turn the channel to PBS halfway through to start the News Hour with Jim Lehrer.

He's hammering on Bush* again, and interviewed Kevin Phillips, author of American Theocracy. They said when the Imperial Blivet was asked whether he thought all the war and terrorism was a sign of End Times and a coming apocalypse, he spent five minutes explaining he hadn't thought about it. They said a simple yes or no would have sufficed and obviously, he wasn't being honest about it.

If he keeps this up, he'll be my new favorite broadcaster.

2. I agree -- his roundtables are getting better and better

Just got done with a discussion among John Fund (UGH!), Jeffrey Toobin and (oops, forgot his name but he's a Democratic strategist) and it was open season on Fund(ie). Dobbs even scolded Fund for interrupting him at one point -- Dobbs is having none of Fund's "happy talk" about how great the economy is. And if I have to hear him point out ONE MORE TIME that "it's been 5 years and no attack on the homeland" as a justification for the Iraq war, I'm going to :puke:

The guy said he did it to avenge his muslim brothers deaths around the world. What the Hell was that if not a terrorist act?

Lou is quite the gentleman, even if he is a Republican. Too bad the Republicans like Lou lost control of their party. They provided the balance. And as for the "it's been five years....bla...bla... bla... Letting it happen once was quite more than enough, thank you very much.
