3 Crazy Things Democratic Politicians Believe

1. My base is the loony left. The Republican base is the mainstream.
2. If we oppose Bush's ridiculously aggressive foreign policy, we will be seen as weak on defense.
3. We don't want to appear angry because Fox News Channel will yell at us if we do.

I think the author is spot on with these. There are far too few Demorats who stand up for what they believe.

only Democrats because they God told them when they were wee children that they could serve best if they ran for an important political office. They are not true Democrats at all.

2. #4 - pointing out that the GOP fiscal policy favors the wealthy

at the expense of everyone else is "class warfare".

10. but that would include all those Dem "representatives" we have

since they are pretty well into the wealthy category themselves. No wonder they speechify against some of the tax cuts, but vote yes for all of them.

We have to get the money out of the politics if we ever hope to take our country back.

I keep hearing people bemoan the fact that democrats who support democratic values will be considered "too liberal" for the mainstream, which is supposedly conservative. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you never talk about the issues that are important to democrats, they end up falling off the radar for mainstream America. Instead you're left with the Republicans picking the issues that are discussed.

he must give up his US citizenship that he bought. I really really really dislike murdoch.

I think one of his sons even dislikes him....he quit working at Fox for some reason...maybe he is enlightened?
