8. He was supposed to be in town a couple months ago for a book

signing but we had a big snowstorm and his plane couldn't make it in.

And then we all wept at the news.

Sorry for the pseudo-spoiler. (I say pseudo because it seems like it is one, but it really doesn't ruin his bit or anything.)
