Don sL-IMUS is a self-hating scumbag

He's been on a rapid roll of scumminess for weeks, starting with his recent mantra of "I'm a Republican." Now, his faux-ragtag image (costing thousands) might suggest that he would be a representative of laboring types (working cowboys, for example), in reality he kowtows to the rich and powerful, never failing to remind us that he is very rich. At the same time, he enjoys making the camera-hogs shamelessly humiliate themselves.

So on Larry KING last night, when Larry led him into the topic of the Iraq Attack, sL-IMUS launched into a manufactured Jeremiad, starting with, "I *like* (Shrub), but..." and "I'm giving (the Shrubbites) the benefit of the doubt." then he said that the whole attack was a mess BUT added up to they're "being wrong about EVERYTHING" ----------but it was just a matter of "poor judgment calls" every step of the way. It "sounded" good when he said that if any of these crapsters worked "for G.E." or any other big, scarfing company they would be FIRED----for their "poor judgment" that is.

This morning he said that Helen THOMAS is "an old bag who should GET OUT!" Talk about consider-the-source.

I know it's all a circus act. And I DON'T CARE that he has raised millions on the backs of poor, disabled children---supposedly on their behalf.

KING: That's what I was going to ask you what do you do?

DON IMUS: I don't know. I don't have an answer but they don't.

DEIRDRE IMUS: Also the president has never asked the country for help or to sacrifice or to do anything.

DON IMUS: No matter what happens, no matter how long it takes, no matter how many dead kids you have, no matter how many kids have come home with all their arms and legs, the outcome is going to be the same. We're going to have to get out of there and the place is going to blow up.

KING: So you don't see an end game?

DON IMUS: Well do you see a happy ending there?

KING: I'm trying to figure -- no.

DON IMUS: No, there's no happy ending there.

DEIRDRE IMUS: Well there's no clean way to do it you know.

DON IMUS: Well I finally got ridiculed for it but I thought, you know, that you say to Saddam Hussein, I mean I know he's a bad guy but you say, "Look, you know"...

KING: Come back.

DON IMUS: He looks great. He looks like Walter Matthau. Did you see him?

KING: Yes.

DON IMUS: Say, "Look, we're sorry about Icky and Sneezy or whatever the kids' names were (INAUDIBLE) and"... KING: Come back.

DON IMUS: Don't screw around with the oil and (INAUDIBLE) on the rape rooms and that kind of stuff and you handle this mess.
