7. I caught the last part of the speech, and most of the Q&A's

I had to drive from one end of Orlando to the other, and back again - which gave me plenty of time to listen. He was basically speaking to a very friendly crowd in West Virginia, Freeperville USA. He said so many things that I wanted to challenge him on. I only wish I would have had something to write on, so I could have taken notes.

8. OMG, he did say "one of the things you will confront is science"

Somebody asked him what challenges his generation would face when it's their turn to lead this country. Bush started rattling a list of his usual pratter, and then said "One of the things you will confront is science" - this is when he started talking about the need for more education in science and math. I just wish I could have recorded that, because it would have made a great sound bite.
