66. Reminds me of a SUV I saw coming around on a cloverleaf

It was very primly lying on its roof with no apparent physical damage. Nearby was a police car, next to which there was an officer talking to a man who appeared to be the driver. There was a fine mist falling from a high overcast, so visiblity wasn't really an obstacle. But something was missing from this picture--the wreckage of the car that the SUV must have hit! When I realized that it simply must have flipped over because it took the cloverleaf too fast on a slick road, it pretty much ended my interest in them!

62. These chases are constantly on the so-called local

"news" here in LA. They'll pre-empt an entire "newscast" (if that's what it is) to cover some moron who stole a car and is careening dangerously through traffic with the cops in hot pursuit. The anchors in the studio are stuck providing commentary - usually speaking with the pilot of the station chopper who's also following the guy. "He's just turned left on Sepulveda." The only people affected are those in the guy's path; and, if they're driving, they probably aren't tuned in. Apparently management has determined that these things are good for ratings. I think making these thugs tv stars is stupid and irresponsible.
