and I wonder since both situations of WAR are so similar which group I should be sending my "used goods to" these days. Should I call up the "Vietnam Vets" to send a truck for my used "stuff" or wait until the "Iraqi Vets" start to compete?
(For those of you who see this as an ugly cyinical post...let me remind you that it "goes with the flow" of our TIMES. The "Vietnam Vets" get usurped by our most current need of the wounded in Iraq and it all has to do with "Globalization and World Trade Organization" in my mind.
One wonders if our "Vietnam Vets" aren't being forgotten with the new masses of more needy. Who and which is the "MOST NEEDY?" Is it one, the other or BOTH?
And, for many Americans does it just come down to "charity for the needy" as they go ON WITH THEIR LIVES...because NEITHER WAR...ever TOUCHED THEM OR THEIR LOVED ONES?
Should we think about this?

2. The Vietnam Vets will watch out for the Iraq Vets. |
|
They're not in competition. They're in commiseration.
