Very positive interview. He looked and sounded articulate and honest.

Jon seemed 2 love the audience's reactions as well. Usually Jon tries, half-heartedly, 2 calm them; 2night he just let them go (hope Dems were listening). Feingold is so personable. Very impressive.

5. Jon Complimented Him Towards End

Jon joked with him throughout. All during the interview, he did his usual schtick. But the best and most moving portion, was when he looked right into the camera, and basically Thanked Russ for showing some Cahones, and being the opposition. I forget his exact words, but Jon got suddenly serious, and hopefully sent a message to the other Dems.

He joked, but I think Russ got a kick out of it.

The worst Jon got during the interview, was at the end when he asked Russ how that McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform thing was going.

That's never happened before. I trend lefter (in case no one has noticed, lol)

The thing is, Russ is a great communicator -- and not like Ronnie. He's engaged and engaging and smart and lucid and neat in his speech.

Otherwise, I just hate him.

12. I really like Russ but....

I thought he looked a little stiff. And his smiling was really fake. Don't yell at me. Maybe comedy is just not his forte.

for and had a hard time making loose jokes about it...

some people have ulterior motives. I thought he did as good a job as any, nothing out of this world. But his laughter was genuine and there was nothing "stiff" about him at all.

I suppose if I hadn't heard that for the last 2 Presidential cycles, I might not be so cynical when it's thrown around again.

15. Russ is definitely not a comedian nor a show man

However, he is a great leader.
