VIDEO- Cafferty/Kurtz on Blaming the Media
Edited on Thu Mar-23-06 04:54 PM by liveoaktx
Argument is the most absurd I've heard in a while.-edited

It's unreal how much time corporate media (I refuse to call them mainstream just because they're ubiquitous) has been spending on arguing whether the way they present news is acceptable-if they really cared if they slanted left or right, they'd get rid of people like Blitzer

1. I wonder if it would do any good

to demand CNN to give Jack his own 30 or 60 minute show?

I know I'd watch regularly.

3. I think Rove miscalculated this time.
The "you're either with us or against us" regime's "war against the media" was intended to put them in their proper place. Instead, it's backfiring. The former cheerleaders are no longer lifting their skirts, it seems.

10. Yes, Nixon blamed the media for exposing his dirty business
just as the boy king is doing. Another parallel to Nixon is the boy king is playing innocent victim. The boy king is unsurpassed, however, in his outright lying, fabricating, distorting, & passing the buck.

The only thing saving the boy king is a Republican majority. Making an enemy of the media might hopefully change that in November.

6. Well, if ya wanna get a little sumptin-sumptin from that cheerleader
...you call her honey, baby, and beautiful, you shower her with gifts and praise...but ya don't call her a whore!

And that's what Rove did to the media!! He orchestrated a campaign to call the media a bunch of evil Babylonian hookers!

Obviously he isn't skilled in the romantic arts...it's flies with HONEY, Karl, not vinegar!!!!

9. Rove's letting his personal feelings get in the way...
He's having to look over his shoulder to watch out for Fitzgerald & the bad ol' media has done a lot of speculating about Karl.

12. I love the ending - "It's all your fault, Wolf..."
Wolf: "I am the MSM..."

And Jack talking about the bodies being found in Baghdad... wow... Excellent clip! Thanks again, liveoaktx!

13. I have a terrible time trying to play or download Can o Fun but managed
when DU had clips of Crooks and Liars and I think Can o Fun -- have the "shame, shame, shame" vid of the House and Dennis Kuchinic was excellent with rightous anger.

I don't think Cafferty has a transcript page, though others on his network do. I think that a show of his own would go a long way to restoring SOME credibility to CNN. Have to email him to thank him again and CNN to give him his own show... Maybe he and Olberman will form a trend, esp. if Lou Dobbs is getting sick of the destruction of America by the BFEE. (The fall of the BUSH FAMILY EVIL EMPIRE)

14. Yeah, Jack would do well with his own show...
He has been a voice of reason in the sea of insanity that is paraded around in the MSM as 'news'.
