I'm from Wisconsin (not currently, but born - as an aside, I get to claim Midwest, Southern, East Coast, and Chicago, depending on what point I want to make - one of the pros of moving a lot as a kid) and even I know that you don't put shit like that on cowboy boots, or at the very least, not that big and not on the front. as i understand it, decorative emblems go on the side of the shaft. and even then it's still tacky.
