Should Bush spend the rest of his life apologizing?

The Republican party has spent the past 50 years trying to make honest Americans apologize for who they were, be it their religious affiliation, sexual orientation or political ideology. They’ve attacked just about everyone.

We can say, “My life is not an apology, but a life.”–Emerson. What remains of Bush’s life should be an apology.

23. Agree. Mouth shut, working on the chain gang
He doesn't like to play the blame game, so we won't. No game.

No talking, we never have to hear the voice again. He just works.

Not sure he is qualified for reconstruction. Did you see that man with a hammer? But he can clear trash.

When he goes back to sleep in prison the walls will be full of life size images of the war dead...but not pictures of them in death, the wrenching pictures of them alive and young and fresh, eyes that watch him in that cell, eyes that are open no more in life.
Then back to work...clearing trash in the gulf states, in Iraq, I don't care.

But he can't talk.

7. Bush and his voters. The biggest reason Bush ...
... has any support at all left, of course, is that everything he has done is on the heads of the people who voted for him. So both Bush and his voters owe America a big apology. But Bush and his voters will agree to agree with themselves that none is required.

9. Bush will NEVER apologize for anything.
But I believe in paybacks, which ARE a bitch. Whether you call it Karma, or God smiting you, or going to Hell, he'll get his.

However, I prefer not to wait for any of that....I want to see how he looks in an orange jumpsuit.

24. Yes, from a cell in Gitmo
His personal wealth should be confiscated, his estate should be sold, including both the coloring books from his "presidential" library, and he should be hooded with a black plastic garbage bag and chained in a cell at Gitmo with a webcam so the world can watch his punishment for the rest of his diseased life.
