George Bush: An inadequate, arrogant, ignorant little man.
There is a percentage of the population (I don't know how many) that still admire the empty suit in the Oval Office. Is it possible that they're infected with some form of mass hysteria?

Junior's only accomplishment in life was being clever enough to be born into a wealthy, powerful family. That aside, he has no traits that any rational human being would want to possess.

He's inarticulate, he struts like like a coward who hopes that his puffed up chest will scare off bullies, he takes pride in not reading and being uninformed, and he thinks that manhood consists of clearing brush, talking tough and being inflexible. (Is there anyone who really believes he "clears brush" when there are no cameras around?) In short, he is an inadequate, arrogant, ignorant little man.

I wonder if he is aware of his own hollowness. Does he realize that without Cheney, Rove, Karen Hughes, and his mother, the empty shell he inhabits would collapse like a scarecrow?

My view of George W. Bush is, I believe, what most people see when they look at him and listen to him. There are, of course, politicians and business people who kiss his ass out of expediency and greed.

But what about those who idolize him? Yes, some of them can be written off as imbeciles, but what about the rest of them? What's WRONG with them???

1. They are looking in a mirror and rather
than face the fact that they, too, are arrogant and ignorant they choose to like what they see and revere it. :freak:

2. They're gullible, scared and sad...
and they want to believe in a living savior. If nothing else, Bush has a pretty good marketing team around him to be able to sell him as such, nothing could be further from the truth.

3. which is why he will never make changes to his staff.
Like an autistic kid thrown into a new and scary situation, Bush would become either a ranting, screaming nutjob, or catatonic.

4. I know people hate this comparison
but -

it sure reminds me of another "inadequate, arrogant, ignorant little man" "who struts like a coward", (with) "his puffed up chest", who "talk(s) tough and being inflexible"

that was able to produce mass hysteria in his followers.

5. There are those that believe they HAVE to worship
the guy because he is prezident, thinking he must know what's right and must be doing his utmost in America's best interests. I wonder where their independent thinking went? Why do they trust Faux and Rush and O'Lielly? Tis a puzzlement...
