What's in Cheney's hotel room?
While the hotel industry claims to cater to all of us -- and many chains do have some level of personalization for return guests -- there are some superstars who get special treatment. And they're not all rock stars. According to The Smoking Gun website, the Vice President of the United States has some items he requires in all hotel rooms he's to stay in, and they better be there before he arrives. Some examples: caffeine-free diet Sprite, a pot of decaf and a room temperature of 68 degrees should be waiting upon his arrival. The No. 2 man at the White House also apparently seeks to limit his exposure to other media on the road, with a request that all TVs be tuned to Fox News.
