Hey you freep-chickenhawk cowards. Yeah, I'm fucking talking to you.
Yeah, YOU. The motherfuckers that rah-rahed this whole bloody mess in Iraq, payed no mind to the lies and misinformation that surrounded it, and think that it is just a great fucking idea to invade Iran. Do any of you little bastards care to explain THIS FUCKING POLL?

Why the hell are all you suddenly too chickenshit to put your money where your mouths are now? And FUCK YOU before you even think it, I came back from Vietnam with fucking shrapnel in my leg you little fuck.

The sad fact is, if only half of you motherfuckers that showed up to all these "pro-war rallies", and "pep shows for the Iraq war" actually showed that you had any type of character, or conviction, and actually believed what you were talking about the whole time, and actually walked into a recruiters office, there would be no need for a fucking draft.

This whole thing is absolutely nothing but fucking patriotism-lite. None of you little cowards know what it is to sacrifice, or to have your food rationed so that they can give it to the troops, or to have gas and heating oil rationed, and have it against the law to be alone in a car if you are going anywhere to save gas. None of you little panty waste chicken-shit bastards even could tell us what meatless tuesday, or food rationing cards are.

You just keep going to the fucking mall, screaming about your little fucking tax cuts, and consume, consume, consume, and don't give a good god damn one little shit about anything but your own selfish little selves. USA, fattest most over fucking fed nation on earth thanks to all of you.

If you don't think it's a good idea to actually move out of your moms house, and actually see a little of the shit that your imperialistic heroes are creating in the world today, why don't you just do us all a favor, and DROP DEAD.:argh:

2. I feel like this at least once a day TJ and then behind the cowards
I remember there are the clever ones who always seem to have a knack for getting a little war here or there going. War - what ir it good for - the Vulcans and the Vultures.

Frontline: Rumsfeld's War
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/pentagon/interviews/
"Gen. Thomas White (U.S. Army-Ret.) was Secretary of the Army from 2001 until April 2003, when he was fired by Donald Rumsfeld. In this interview, he talks about Rumsfeld's leadership style and drive to remake the military, the Defense Department's rigid control in planning for a post-war Iraq, and why he believes the Army is on the brink of being broken. "What we are all worried about is that the manpower situation will come unglued. ... The Army is people; it's not weapons or platforms. Somebody once said, 'A soldier's not in the Army; they are the Army.'"This interview was conducted on Aug. 12, 2004."

3. & they're too stupid to realize 99% of them will be "left behind"
by the uberwealthy in the Bush camp as the vast majority of Americans drown in the economic wasteland Bush's corporate welfare &/or preemptive war boondoggles have created. Anyone who relies on a paycheck to make a living, as opposed to living off their portfolio returns, and supports today's GOP is the ultimate fool.

6. Good on ya teammate
I did 24 years, one tour in a combat zone and was called a coward on at least three occasions because I opposed going to war in Iraq; everyone of those calling me names had never served and everyone declined my invitation to give them a ride to the recruiting office. I've heard on numerous occasions in the past three years, "I haven't served in the military yet." Hopefully we are being monitored by young republicans. Hopefully they are thinking, there is a lot of old fart motherfuckers still eat up with that supporting and defending the constitution stuff, especially against DOMESTIC ENEMIES. Cowards fucking with the constitution tends to piss real americans off. Take that message back to your klaverns.

If anybody calls you a coward again, you send them my way (or at least let me join in your response :D). Thank you for all you have done and continue to do. We still have to defend our country. This time the bigger threat is the government.

I am a teacher in a computer lab and am sometimes tempted to check DU when things are quiet, but there is usually a short person standing behind me and thats post would have caused a LOT of interest!

But anger does that to you...and it is difficult not to get angry at the complacency evident today.

Perhaps that 60% against a draft are fellow progressives who feel the draft would be a cattle call for fresh fodder for the Bush Admin, something we can't tolerate.

My patriotism isn't the question, the question is can we trust our current admin with involuntary recruits?

17. How about an Amendment to the Constitution?
'Corporations shall gain no profit or net worth from the United States' involvement in military action against another country.'

This seems like a more reasonable request for amending the Constitution then what Republicans propose, and curb the need to launch military action around the world.

Anybody care to add to or clarify this Amendment?

Bush/Cheney/Rove "Nation at War" 101:
1. Have no draft.
2. Have no war tax.
3. Ask for no shared sacrifice by the populace.

27. How stupid and selfish are they?
At a peace march last weekend a war supporter yelled at me demanding to know why I wasn't over there serving. Well duh lady, I'm against the war. Why the hell would I volunteer to fight in a war I oppose?

If you support it why was your lazy ass sitting in that chair outside the bar sucking on your green beer and enjoying a nice cool breezy March day of sunshine instead of over in Iraq enjoying all the happy news gushing from there.

I am beyond tired of this chickenhawk shit. Thank you!

31. Give them a scare .... just whisper one little ..... "draft' ..... shhhhhh
Our military has NEVER ever been as fucked up as it is now. Overextended and under equipped.

Lots of multibillion dollar hi tech (high profit) war toys ...... but no body armor, no medical aftercare, no respect for the individual in the military ... just for the far more anonymous 'the troops'.

The Viet Name era story of the returnee being spat upon was long ago debunked. But today, the symbolic spit on our returning and recycled and maimed and ruined soldiers and sailors is very fucking real.

Fuck 'em, indeed.

I'm with ya, man!
