No doubt that means that some violence is good (non-sectarian), but violence by those making our invasion of a sovereign nation look bad is, well, bad.

Who were actually fighting for sovereignty, but the struggle was commonly propagandized into sectarian violence between Catholics and everyone else. (According to British Catholics, "if you're not a Catholic, you're a Protestant, even if you've never gone to a church")
