BushBots Speaking Out Against Unfair Press Reporting Only Bad News
George W. Bush has surrounded himself with a staff that will never raise an opposing view to his warped policy. So, Bush may really not know how bad things really are in Iraq, since his handlers do not want to upset him with bad news regarding his prized mission in Iraq.

Polls have been plummeting for Bush, and people have finally figured out that Bush is untrustworthy and has blundered in Iraq. Needless to say, people are no longer willing to give Bush the benefit of doubt, regarding anything anymore, because they just do not trust him and question his motives.

Now, the BushBots keep crying out that the mean liberal media only shows the bad stuff in Iraq, and plead with Bush to stay the course and let everyone know how good things really are in Iraq. BushBots are actually reinforcing Bush's flawed and false view of the facts in Iraq, and are encouraging him to speak out even more about their fictional view of Iraq. Bush actually thinks most of America feels the same way his pre-screened BushBot crowds feel, and thinks the people are really behind him, because nobody close to him wants to give him the real facts and bad news. Bush is feeding off of a small radical delusional crowd, and presenting that to the American people. The more Bush speaks out about how positive things are in Iraq, the more people he actually loses, because people think he is delusional. Besides, Bush constantly screwing himself by speaking, doesn't help him with people either.

Therefore, BushBots should be supported for their efforts to reinforce and encourage Bush. They have gotten to the point where their alternate reality is destroying any remaining credibility they have left with the American people, and they are encouraging their Dearly Beloved Leader to just keep talking.

1. As I said in a previous posting ...
Faux News should step up and only show good news from Iraq, no violence whatsoever. See how long that lasts.

2. Gee, I wonder what they would say if the MSM mentioned....
Depleted Uranium.

It's my opinion, that the the worst of what's happened in Iraq hasn't even been reported yet.

9. Hello XNASA
I'm off topic here for a moment but thought you might be interested in:

On 21 April this year, Stennis will test fire the Saturn V Moon Rocket's J-2 Engine. My wife works at Stennis. I'm looking forward to the test fire. Very photogenic (and loud.)

17. Hey, Boss!
Why are they test firing the J-2? Do they plan on using it again I wonder?

If I might, I'd like to recommend a great book about the 12 who walked on the moon I recently read. "Moondust" by Andrew Smith. Check it out.

Cheers!

18. Thanks for the book recommendation
I'll put it on my birthday list. In fact, I just did that. The test is in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the first rocket engine test at Stennis on 23 April 1966. We live 15 miles northwest of Stennis and I can hear the test firings from our home. Its like listening to the railroad go by; very soothing.

5. I find this an incredible mixed message from "conservatives"
because I can't figure out how any news coming from Iraq is "bad" news to them. Our kids getting killed, no big deal to conservatives. Innocent Iraqis being slaughtered every day. Why is that bad news to a "conservative?" Muslim houses of worship being blown up. "Cool" to "conservatives." Shia killing Sunni. "So what?" Our military equipment being ruined by the desert climate and sand. "What, me worry?" Our economy being destroyed by bush's iraq policy. "Deficits don't matter." I find their whining without merit. What bad news??

On the other hand, if they really do believe this is bad news, its only a reminder to them of how totally fucking wrong they were to support the asshole. And the shrinking numbers who continue to support him are too proud to admit they were wrong.

11. Why?
bush's base proudly proclaims their "conservatism." I always put the word in quotes because I know people who support bush are not conservatives, in fact I have a hard time justifying their citizenship.

15. Because of "conservatives"
who vote we have republicans to contend with. My bone is with those who blindly follow the party and lash out at veterans like me who proudly proclaim my love of country and opposition to war. "Conservatives" who are way too proud to admit the truth, they are wrong and hate the constitution. If it weren't for "conservatives" bush would be dicking the dog in Crawford.

16. correct sir but....
when people go to the polls there wont be a lever that says conservatives on it. and yes most people are too stupid to know that conservative and republican pretty much mean the same thing.
the idea is to tell people who fucked them over.
yes it was the "conservatives" but we have our own as well.
thats my very feeble attempt at framing.

8. Are there people out there in the real world who believe this crap?
I mean people watching TV who think this was an actual person asking a real question "from her heart"? I would think that most of the public would be pissed as hell at this insult to their intelligence!!!

The attacks will accelerate. What else do they have?
They are staking it all on swiftboating the media. Don't underestimate their power. I think this could be push comes to shove time, when the 70% of the American people who are not Bushbots will have to decide whether or not to buy this b.s. yet again.

10. Right out of the RW playbook . . . blame the press
"Librul media" is their mantra.

Never mind all that fiction by Judy Miller that was on the front page of The New York Times in 2002. Never mind the utter failure of the American MSM to challenge Bush's case for war until long after the fact. Americans were in the dark about the war unless they went beyond the MSM for their facts.

Those of us who did knew that Bush was lying, that intelligence was being cooked, that Saddam had little or nothing of which to be afraid and that Saddam and Osama were bitter enemies.

But it was still the "librul media". No matter how often they say it, it won't make it true.

13. sporadic water-electricity, w/heavy number of daily murders
Imagine if Cheney/Rumsfeld allowed us to see the Dead troops arriving back to the states? reporting good news about Iraq would be like reporting good news about manson...! Good news?, the troops would be leaving there is no good news about a war in which our president lied to us to start it!!

14. Well come on now, its kinda hard to talk about the great things
happening in Iraq when all the press seems to be talking about is the death and destruction going on. Remember stars and stripes meetings during the vietnam war, we only do 2 stories in the stars and stripes 1)winning the hearts and minds of the people of Vietnam 2)body counts of enemies, preferably high ranking officals. Remember bush bots are from that same type of thinking, it wasn't the military that screwed up vietnam, it was the press.
