Poll question: Is DU "censoring" discussion of the problems with the 9/11 story?

It is clear from this recent poll on DU that many users don't accept the official account, and many think the govt was actually complicit in 9/11

It is clear from CNN's online snap poll that many CNN watchers (82% of respondents)think the govt is involved in a cover up of 9/11.

Why is Breaking News that casts doubt on/proves the lie of the official 9/11 story immediately moved to the September 11 forum before it can be discussed as "breaking news"?

Why are topics posted to General Discussion immediately moved to the September 11 forum, when they are posted in GD for the purpose of getting a broader range of opinions input, than the skeptics and CT bashers who hang out there? The September 11 forum has been nicknamed the "dungeon". This is funny and ironic, as this board is called "Democratic" "Underground". It's also sad and disturbing, in my opinion.

If the govt. lied about 9/11, as it appears the vast majority of DUers believe, should we not be getting at the truth? We are trying to get at the truth behind the Iraq war, Katrina, the elections, torture, rendition, secret prisons, warrantless spying, global warming, campaign financing, bribing, etc. etc.- why is questioning September 11 heresy, politically incorrect, unacceptable, shameful, etc? The govt. has NOT made the case for accepting their version of events, and this Administration has a documented history of lying as a matter of policy. It is irresponsible to accept their account at face value, and especially when there are so many glaring and well documented holes and lies.
