Lou Dobbs Show schedule tonight. Sounds like he's on a roll again!
Lou Dobbs Tonight
Friday, March 24, 2006

Will we ever learn from history? In the aftermath of the Dubai
ports dispute, the Bush administration is hiring a Hong Kong
conglomerate to help detect nuclear materials inside cargo
passing through the Bahamas to the United States and elsewhere.
The no-bid contract is currently being finalized. Will we be
doomed by this deal? We’ll have that report tonight.

Join us for our special report, "Broken Borders." We'll tell
how the United States and Mexico are handling the escalating
violence at the border.

And Mexico is ramping up its campaign to influence our
immigration policy. We’ll report on the bi-national meeting at
which senior officials from various U.S. and Mexican agencies
will participate, providing an opportunity to review the full
range of issues in this key relationship.

The United States can’t agree on English as its official
language. But the European Union can? France has agreed to make
English the dominant language in the European Union. But not
everyone is happy about it. We’ll have the full report tonight.

Lou will be talking with our political roundtable – former
adviser to four presidents David Gergen, former White House
political director Ed Rollins and New York Daily News Michael
Goodwin – for a wrap-up of the week’s top stories.

And, in “Heroes,” we'll bring you the story of one U.S. soldier
whose likeness is coming to a toy store near you.

1. Lou has become my favorite CNN person, leaping over Jack ...
... Cafferty and Christianne Amanpour.

2. Give Jack a 30 or 60 minute show to himself

and then you might change your mind.

3. Jack has the best job in the MSM
I'd work that job without compensation.

5. He was ON FIRE last night!!! I absolutely LOVED how pissed he got,...
,...in his "controlled" way *LOL*.

Lou and cantankerous Jack have become my absolute FAVES. They are the ONLY two I watch, anymore, because they actually give me some sense of hope about what remains of integrity on the CM.

6. I suspect dobbs of racism
watch him start foaming at the mouth next week
with the immigration laws being debated.

He maintains he is not 'anti-immigrant' but only
against illegal aliens. I remember how he highlighted
the minutemen vigilante border guys like they were heroes.

Yes he's been bashing bush a lot lately, but he is basically
a conservative.- not a neocon, but politically conservative.

8. lmao @ Maher's description: "the guy who hates Mexicans"
And Dobbs didn't deny it! LOL... But yeah, I think Dobbs is a racist. I didn't appreciate his tone when talking about the Katrina evacuees. Nevertheless, I love his segments regarding "War on the Middle Class."

9. Yup and the only reason he's standing against Bush now
is because he sees the economy falling apart for the next 3 generations. Dobbs is worried about his portfolio, frankly I'm sick of all these people giving him a pass after 6 years of him trashing liberals and progressives.

Dobbs quotes after the Mission Accomplished fiasco:

"He looked like an alternatively commander in chief, rock star, movie star, and one of the guys."
(CNN's Lou Dobbs, on Bush's 'Mission Accomplished' speech, 5/1/03)

"Some journalists, in my judgment, just can't stand success, especially a few liberal columnists and newspapers and a few Arab reporters."
(CNN's Lou Dobbs, 4/14/03)

The only side Dobbs in on is Dobbs's.

10. war on "middle class"
Edited on Fri Mar-24-06 05:23 PM by RGBolen
And who would he have been against in the 1950's for destroying the "middle class"? or in the 1850's?

If you had a time machine you could just take ole Lou drop him in any neighborhood at any time and he'll find the non-WASP that is "destroying the middle class"
