1. Me, Too!
I cried after the film was over. It was amazing. The people who hate it are stupid & cold.

7. Their psyches cant allow them to relate to this film or they
would have to kill themselves for being a part of the madness.

It's titled, "V is for Very Boring."

32. I loved it. But the lesbian movie-star sub-plot was a waste.
It wasn't believable, and was kinda cheesy. Also, it made the movie seem less convincing as a whole. Why?

Because hatred of gays isn't ever a government thing. It stems from the masses. Most unfortunately.

I saw it last night and loved it. (I'm proud to say I work for the studio that had the courage to release it!) I plan to see it again.

13. I went in at 1:35 and came out at 4:00. I couldn't believe
that much time had passed and I didn't want it to end. I loved the poetry and the words.

Then I thank that studio, too. They have done a great thing. America needed a film like this. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :applause: :applause: :applause:

Not only am I surprised they put it out, I'm REALLY surprised the right wing isn't more up in arms about it. Maybe it's over the wingnuts heads?

16. Nothing can be "pure" enough for some people.
The idea that they government wasn't tyrannical enough, that V was "aristocratic" or that we nebver learned who cleans his dwelling, apparently just distract TOO much for some viewers.

I always liked her but I think she was great here. The scene where she read the letter from the other prisoner had me in tears.

One reason to see it in a theater
is the experience of having others around who are getting the message. There is something about that which makes the movie much more enjoyable.

not to raise your expectations too high. Although I am sure it would live up to them.

And I hope I don't upset the real fans of this movie when I say this but a couple of the scenes when they show V in his gettup reminded me of Michael Jackson. I Have seen pics of Jackson with all the black clothes and that straight hair. The faces are both porcelin but the only difference was the characteristics of the mask.

and like someone else who posted upthread, I left the theater feeling really energized. I wouldn't want to give anything away for those who haven't seen it, but by all means, go!

I can't imagine how anyone could find it boring.
