Christopher Hitchens said there were unfound WMDs in Iraq
The gin soaked popinjay said it on Hardball. Said Little Lord Pissypants didn't lie about WMDs because they were in Iraq but Saddam must have got rid of them.

5. the USA sold wmd to saddam, and he used them, so he did have
them at one time. We knew that 95% of them were destroyed. We were unsure about 5%. Bush used this 5% as justification (in post 9-11-01, we need 100% certainty).

i was wondering why you had such a hard time with the truth.

just remember that snarky one liners make a poor substitute for a lamp post or a foundation to hold up the official story.

34. Right, I'll tell that to anyone who believes the official story.
And I'll point them to your propaganda as the other end of the spectrum.

Two completely ridiculous and obviously flawed theories, each with their own set of believers.

Good thing the skeptics are in between you guys.

I mean, I don't see the logic in developing weapons then hiding/moving them when you are attacked. Is it just me?

31. Shhhhh...That's Way Too Logical
The fun I have with the asshat and wingnuts on this issue. Now, supposedly Saddam had these weapons and he wasn't afraid to use them on his people, no? Well if he wasn't afraid to gas Kurds (who weren't he people) why wouldn't he use them on troops hellbent on not only driving him from power, but killing him. What kind of a ruthless dictator is he?

And if he's hiding them somewhere else...then what's he waiting for? To re-invade? Summer re-runs? To put with the planes he sent to Iran in 1990 and they never came back?

The wingnuts need this argument in any form they can hang on to as it's the last minute thread of credibility they have to themselves. They'll never admit this war was a fraud cause it means they have been had and are frauds as well.

43. So it could be...
I wouldn't be surprised if he did start talking about Syria, heck he's got his eyes on Iran. But I bet if he did go to war or tried to go to war with either country, the American people won't put up with it.

27. That dude is crazy
Seriously he RESERVES his venom for Clinton, Lady Di and Sister Teresa. Sure I get some of his "ideas" on all of them. But his defending Bush on this makes him look like a loon-because he's really just defending his own position. AND he's suing the Bush admin over spying in conjuction with the ACLU-the article is pretty good in the latest Vanity Fair. He's smart enough to see the real danger the Bush cabal poses and yet he defends this rot.
