Theory about people who are lapping up Bush's new PR about Iraq...
These are the same people who believe a person can be a congenital liar one day, then go to sleep, then wake up the next day as an honest, ethical person.

I want to know where these people buy their Kool-aid!

Discuss 'mongst yourselves. :)

2. The nuts seemed to crawl out of the woodwork after 2000.

I must be very sheltered; I didn't know their species existed. I seemed to have had a higher opinion of Americans, overall, before the Supreme Court appointed such an inept nut.

3. Naw.....
these are the people that watch Faux news 24/7 - I know one personally, it's my Mom...God love her but I can not talk politics to her at ALL. She believes everything that comes thru those poisoned airways and because of Bush's faith based agenda, she will back him until she sees him screwing a sheep. I do giver her some tiny credit, she didn't understand the Dubai deal and questioned the Shrub on that but for the most part, she's hooked into the whole patriotic bull crap. She even made the comment to me when I brought up that the Iraqi invasion was not connected to 9/11; that she was around during WWII and that you had to be there to understand the mistrust and fear of the Japanese and that's how it was with anyone Muslum....She grew up in the 30's - 50's - has never really had to deal with or try to understand what diversity is and the benefits of so my guess is that there is a whole generation out there with the same outlook. They see the things on TV that most of us have gotten hardened to and then they go to church to connect with the innocence that there once was and Bang! There's good ole Bible thumping Bush.... :tinfoilhat:

Sorry for the rant....I have tried to dissuade her and then I get called a communist.

4. Where I live is nothing but Republican
But tonight at bingo there was a much different tone. A snooty older woman who was sitting across from me said."Did you see that the President(with sarcasm) was in town today". Her lip was so snarled up at the mention of Bush's name that I almost laughed. Her friend had the same snarly lip and remarked, Really, I have better things to do than listen to him, I turned off the TV when he came on". Things are definitely changing. But with Bush down to 37% in Indiana you can tell that they no longer drink the kool-aid here like they used to.
