16. I don't agree with her - but if you consider a fetus to be equivalent

to a human life: there are over 100,000 abortions a year in the US. She'd say that even if we had killed 100,000 total Iraqis over 3 years, it's still less than the number of "babies" aborted during that time.

How one can equate a 7-12 week old embryo/fetus with a walking/talking human, I don't know. Yes, it has the potential to become a walking/talking human (under the right conditions) but so does a sperm (under the right conditions, namely, penetrating an egg, having that egg implanted in a uterus, having the female's body not reject that implanted egg at some point, etc.)
