Radio Freudian slip re: Condi
Reminds me of the joke about the guy who goes to work and says to his co-worker:
"I made a really bad Freudian slip at breakfast this morning. I meant to say. 'Please pass the sugar'."

The co-worker replies, "so what came out of your mouth?"

The guy says, "You ruined my life, you fucking bitch."

it says something about miss a'roni! no need to say anything about 'that insane liberal bitch' Hillary Clinton-the nazipoohs leave no doubt about how black they think she is...

4. A Little Insight Into KFNS...the station involved
This station was just purchased by the St. Louis Cardinals and has gone through a massive staff and management changeover. I had several good friends...some who had been with the station dating back to the KSD days in the 70's...let go at the end of last year as the new ownership was going to "make big changes".

Most of the new hires were kids and inexperienced management...who work long hours for cheap...and the operation has been a disaster in the interim. What's not being shown here...and for obvious reason...is not how the slip-up occured, but how it was handled. The station reacted knee-jerk to the initial reports without even listening to their own broadcast...at least the NAACP did. Then they compounded the mess by attempting to make it seem like a bigger deal than what it was. Some of this was purposeful, as the "controversy" will attract as many listeners to this new station as anything.

Last night Keith Olberman related how he messed up reading something on the air that resulted in him using the "c" word on the air. I had similar instances in my "younger days". Try saying Oshkosh City Hall real fast sometime...or one night when I slipped up on reporting about how someone who hijacked an airplane ejaculated over the highway! Hell, without these boners (literally), Dick Clark would have had to retire in 1980.

I suspect there were other problems with this host other than a simple slip-up. The aircheck shows that the context of his discussion was in flattering Rice, not picking on her. But then the Cardinals are owned by heavy GOOP donors and probably have zero tolerance on employees who "rock the boat"...especially with their political sugar daddies and mommies.
