Patton: A Biography
Alan Axelrod

Alan Axelrod chronicles the life and times of Gen. George Patton in a book that is part of Palgrave Macmillan's Great Generals series. The author describes Gen. Patton as an extremely controversial figure who is one of the most successful field commanders in U.S. history. During his presentation, Alan Axelrod is joined by Retired Gen. Wesley Clark, the editor of the Great Generals series.

Alan Axelrod is the author of "Patton on Leadership," "Encyclopedia of Wars" and "The Macmillan Dictionary of Military Biography." Gen. Wesley Clark retired from the U.S. Army as a four-star general after thirty-four years of service. He is the author of "Waging Modern War: Bosnia, Kosovo and the Future of Combat." He was a presidential candidate in 2004.
