What if 'Wash Post' Hired Bush as Blogger?

By Greg Mitchell

(March 25, 2006) -- The Washington Post (play along with me here, folks) announced last night that President George W. Bush had agreed to replace Ben Domenech as the “Red America” blogger at the newspaper’s popular Web site. Bush contributed his first Web posting today, in which he thanked his old rival, Al Gore, for “inventing the internets.”

.............

Bush’s first post today opens this way: “Awesome. But what does this ‘enter’ key do? LOL. Gotcha.”

He went on to defend homeschooling, recent criticism of the movie “Red Dawn,” and his Sammy Sosa trade (“I knew he would do ‘roids eventually, and you know how I feel about drugs”). The president also revealed he had walked out of a private screening of "V for Vendetta" at the White House when he realized it was not the sequel to Jim Carrey's "The Mask."

He also denied that he had ever suggested that “Saddam Hassein attacked us with nuclear weapons on 9/11.”

The Post spokesman said the site, in pursuit of balance, was now looking to also hire “a liberal Republican.”

1. Fantasy press and fantasy football--
both are the answers to that question "what will the Prezidnent and his people do when they leave office (if they aren't wearing the infamous orange suits and GPS monitoring devices). Has anyone ever seen an original piece of writing by the Chimp? One that is longer than a grunted phrase?

2. thanks! very funny stuff. who is this guy?
"A Post spokeman said the paper was certain that the president had never committed plagiarism because “he hasn’t written anything himself since college,” but this time, unlike in the Domenech case, “we spent a few minutes googling just to make sure.” He added that the Post does not screen bloggers for “misrepresentations, misleading statements or outright lies” in their past"

Later that day at the UN....
