The scuttling of the Dubai ports deal left a "bitter aftertaste" in the mouths of many Arabs, adding to anti-Western sentiments that date back centuries, the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States said Friday in Seattle. Under heavy pressure earlier this month from Democrats and Republicans in Congress, Dubai Ports World, a company based in the United Arab Emirates on the Persian Gulf, pulled out of a recent contract to manage six U.S. ports
