Do you really think they're going to pass this bill? They're probably going to make the bill so outrageous, that democrats and some repukes combine to vote it down. When the November comes around, they have their talking points - "We tried to stop illegal immigration, but the sorry democrats blocked it".

As for immigrants being cheaper than slaves, at $5.15 an hour that is the truth. You have to furnish the food, clothing, health care, transportation, insurance, housing, and all the other necessities out of your own pocket to support a slave. Paying them $5.15 an hour is much cheaper. That's the republican way.

what it's like in China, India, Mexico, Vietnam, etc. where the workers are paid 20 cents to a couple of bucks an hour. Their American-owned companies treat them worse than animals in a dog pound. Many of these workers are children. How do these bastards sleep at night?
