xxxxxxxxxx Corporation is considering your credentials for an assignment as an Effects Coordination Board Controller Graphics Support Assistant in support of the Commanding General Iraq. The report date for the position is April 28, 2006. The duration of the assignment is one year. The hours are 56 hours per week, but could be increased to 70 hours depending on project needs. The position includes 2 weeks vacation (80 hours) each 12 weeks; accrued after reaching assignment location (Iraq). The rate for the position is $45 per hour base rate and $65 per hour overtime (over 40 hours per week).
The job description includes the following, but is not limited to:
Responsible for preparing word and power point files in support of the weekly Effects Coordination Board (ECB) briefing to the Commanding General. Duties include but are not limited to serving as the central point of contact for the Effects Coordination Cell (ECC) for input consolidation and slide preparation, develop slide format and enforce slide standards, proof slides for errors and refine slides to improve readability and functionality, serve as a liaison element between the ECC and the Line of Operation (LOO) owners (educating them on slide intent/guidance and how assessment is measured within the LOO objectives, take notes concerning slide production and refinement during all working groups and the weekly effects coordination board, provide oversight to ECB calendar development, room scheduling, print production and media (proxima/cyclops) availability, automating the assessment component of the ECB using "SCOREBOARD" software, ensuring that the "SCOREBOARD" data base is properly maintained and updated on a weekly basis, and serving as a back-up facilitator at all-working groups and boards. Bachelors degree or equivalent, valid passport, two years experience as graphic designer or graphic artist, and have ability to obtain Secret security clearance required.
Required Skills
· Must be extremely proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word documents, must have a clear comprehension of visual standards and how best to manipulate data from external sources and apply them to the ECB presentation, must have computer, FAX, copier, proxima automation skills, must be able to provide feedback to the ECB Coordinator / Team Leader with regards to the condition and status of the weekly ECB presentation, with sufficient training must be able to manipulate the "SCOREBOARD" program and database, troubleshooting skills for quality of course files and improvement of current processes, and must be able to provide feedback to the ECB Coordinator / Team Leader and the Effects / Deputy Effects Coordinator with regards to the condition and status of the weekly briefing.
