Is the media biased against the New York Knicks?
I've just conducted an in depth study of news coverage of the New York Knicks, and what I found is astonishing. The Knicks have played 69 games, and on the day after one of their games, the biased media has only reported good news 19 times!!!

Imagine being the family and friends of someone associated with this team. Day after day of having to live with the media only choosing to report bad news. No wonder things aren't going better. What the media is doing to this team is shameful. We need to band together and insist that the media report favorably on the Knicks every day following the team's 13 remaining games. Anything less would be unpatriotic and un-American.

1. Well said
These so-called journalists need to stop reporting from the safety of the press box and get out to MSG and actually see what's going on. And they're obviously biased against Larry Brown, who's done a heckuva job.

2. What you need is to start a new media outlet that completely ignores
all the bad news, and only reports the good news about the New York Knicks, that is, IF there ever is any good news about the Knicks.

5. To paraphrase from "Bull Durham"

"My God, how did we win 19?"

7. yes, absolutely! . . . not only do they report those pesky losses . . .
they also report extraneous issues like . . .

- the players suck
- the coach sucks
- the GM sucks
- the players hate the coach
- the coach hates the players
- the GM and the coach hate each other
- there's no point guard
- there's two point guards
- Starbury is the league's best point guard
- Starbury is the league's worst point guard
- Starbury isn't a point guard at all
- the Garden crowd boos the players
- the Garden crowd boos the coach
- the Garden crowd boos the GM
- the vendors aren't making any money
- "wait until next year!"

totally biased and unfair coverage, if you ask me . . .
