How can I edit my journal?

I had some advice to improve and clean up a post I makde "Time For Plain Talk About The Bush Regime" but I can't figure out how to edit my journal. Since the original post has archived, I would have to start a new post. What can I do?

2. I think once it's archived, you can't go back and edit.

You can delete and add threads but you can't edit. If I'm wrong, hopefully someone will correct me.

7. How about this given the limitations

Copy and paste the journal piece into your word processing program. Edit the thing. Repost it and add it to your journal. Then delete the original.

The previous poster said you can delete but not edit. So this seems like a way to get it done. Hope this helps.

4. I don't think we can beyond the normal edit period for the post

You can edit the intro at any point, but I'm pretty sure that's all.

If I'm mistaken I'm sure someone will come along and clear it up, but I was poking around in mine today and that's what it appeared like to me.

You could always post it as a "Custom Module" however.

5. I saw one jounal with all kinds of stuff added to it.

It had stuff over in the righthand column where mine shows the "latest threads" etc., but I have no idea how to do anything but add posts and edit an intro. methinks we need an owners manual.

10. I can help you with that

At the top of the right hand column click on "edit journal" and then scroll down to where you see the "Custom Module" click on "edit module" to the right of that and add your content.

If I wasn't clear just let me know. I'm terrible at explaining things. :)

6. I don't think you can edit any post once the initial editing time expired

Just because it's your own journal, it doesn't mean you can edit posts once they're in there, unless you originally posted it less than an hour ago.

If you get caught trying, it's two weeks detention!!
