Just what we need! Another conservative asshole with a talk show!
Patricia Heaton, from "Everyone Loves Raymond," is getting a day time talk show.

Just what we needed. . .a stupid conservative with an outlet for their idiotic bullshit.

4. she's anti-choice.
Considers herself a "feminist for choice" - pretty easy to be when you can afford to have a tummy tuck after birthing a few babies.

17. My point is, it's easy for someone rich to be pro-life.
Edited on Mon Mar-27-06 10:29 AM by Iris
And no, fetuses shouldn't be aborted for that reason, but multiple pregnancies take a toll on women's bodies and if she's going to talk the talk she oughta walk the walk like the average woman who has too many kids.

2. Depends on the format
If it's a mainstream talk show like Ellen, then I don't think she'll be permitted to be overly political by the producers.

5. She says it?
I've read interviews she's done where she's bragged about being the only Bush-voter in the room at Hollywood parties.

Plus, she's anti-choice.

6. I was going to ask
how you knew she was conservative but that's why God made google. She's pretty proud of the bush vote, tells her Dem friends they got their tax cut so should thank her.

Oh good, she has more money, screw all the dead folks, uninsured people, loss of rights.

How selfish does that sound?

16. Truly! She's had a ton of Plastic Surgery
She's a regular Ms Frankenstein with what she's done to her body. This is not an anti-plastic surgery thread but it seems that a ton of these women, especially these right-wing anti-choice women have no problem with stretching their faces beyond belief. Here's another one - Hunter Tylo. Geez, give it a rest with the damn surgery because it's not making you look any better!

11. Heaton is a Bush Lover: "You would have thought I crapped [on] the table!"
http://www.nypost.com/tv/30300.htm

from NY Post review of "Rated R: Republicans in Hollywood," a documentary about repugs in hollywood.

<snip>
Given all the vitriol that has been spewed lately by the Bush-hating lefties in support of John Kerry, the views held by the interviewees in "Rated R" come as gusts of fresh air, as when Heaton describes the reaction at a Beverly Hills dinner party when she announced she and her husband both voted for President Bush.
"Literally," laughs Heaton, "you would have thought I had crapped in the middle of the table!"

14. It will go the way of Tempestt
and Tyra, and Jim J & Tammy Faye, and Sharon Osborne.

Nobody's had a successful new daytime show since Ellen.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of people that it sucks in. I am not putting anyone down mind you, I am not telling you what to watch but I am just saying that my life is a lot better since I stopped listening to that drivel.
