Blair tells world to keep US on side
Tony Blair has told his allies in the West to abandon their "mad" anti-Americanism or risk losing the most important force in the battle of values against extremist Islam.

In a rare joint meeting of the two houses of the Australian Parliament, the Prime Minister sought to portray himself as a critical friend of the United States but spoke of his astonishment at the antipathy shown to the world's only superpower by fellow European leaders.

Describing what he called the fight for "the global values: fairness, justice and freedom", Mr Blair said: "This alliance does not end with, but it does begin with America.

"For us in Europe and for you, this alliance is central," he went on. "And I want to speak plainly here. I do not always agree with the US. Sometimes they can be difficult friends to have. But the strain of, frankly, anti-American feeling in parts of European politics is madness when set against the long-term interests of the world we believe in."

1. Personally at this point--here in America
I'm more fearful of the extreme Christians than I am of the extreme Islamics.

2. He should have been more specific
and made it perfectly clear he was referring to your government and not your people.

4. Basically he's saying Tony Blair's ideals require American blood.
Without Americans willing to die for global fairness, justice and freedom, the war for this cause cannot be fought in the mean, nasty countries of the world, so how the hell could anyone just and fair possibly want the US to butt out? Don't they care about the oppressed masses of the world?

7. Blair urges other world leaders to join him in kissing Chimpy's ass.
Get this Tony, Idiotson has pissed off the justabout everyone on the frickin' planet with his arrogance and stupidity. After the U.S. congress puts his sorry ass on trial for treason and removes him from office, then the world will have confidence in Americans again.

8. In the words of his friend VP Chemey

Go fuck yourself.

Tony was never Bush's poodle, more like his prison bitch.

He is on a different planet, his own popularity is plummeting and he is an electoral liability (the UK still has those old-fangled paper voting ballots) the sooner he resigns the sooner he can get dragged into a court in the Hague.

10. Did he say something?
I heard a horse muttering,
a stallion spitting in the barn;
no mind to his sputtering,
a stomping proud nosed blagger, spinning up a yarn.
oh why does lovely horse look so familar,
iraq-war unapologetically, (Gosh, Oh Well and Darn)
he sees his works as public theatre,
unravelling labour's consensus, to Blairing threads of yarn.

What reformation the british seizmic plates shall there be,
as Brown sharpens up his dusty, backward-looking, unprepared, appearance,
or leaves behind his remaining tea, to be a full-time daddy,
Until conservative libertarians thrive, libdems force a coalition adherence.
Is there a horse muttering in the barn?
is he out there spinning another yarn?

:-)
